Lynda K. Bundrant-Taylor

Lynda K. Bundrant combines a life long love of horses, the old West and Native American culture into
a satisfying career as a writer.

Born in Washington State, she spent most of her life growing up in the shadow of the Cascade Mountain range, was active in Camp Fire Girls, photography, visiting ghost and old West theme towns like Winthrop, Kooskooskie, Fort WallaWalla, Simcoe, and Okanogan, the old Ruby mine up by Nighthawk, gold mining town of Gilbert up in the beautiful Methow Valley, Shaniko, Oregon, Ohanapecosh, Tatoosh (both are by Mtn. Rainer), and more.

She also had a passion for training and showing her foundation Appaloosa horses around the Northwest.

Freelance Writing and Editor

While Lynda was in junior high school, She was inspired with the readings of Louis L'Amour, Helen Hoover, Larry McMurtry, Donald K. Wright and listening to stories from old cowboys sitting by the fire. With this and her love of the 1800's history started writing short stories to her first readers ~ her family.

Today ~ Lynda is a freelance writer for various horse and western magazines, proofreader, editor and ghostwriter. She is currently working on a historical non-fiction book about the connection between the Appaloosa, Nez Perce and Palouse Indians.

Lynda is a member of Women Writing the West, National Association of Women Writers, member and historian for Wyoming Writer's, Inc.
